What went down: Volunteers shared their crafting talents by making items for terminally ill patients. Caring Hospice Services is a unique, holistic and cost effective service designed to meet the social, emotional, spiritual and physical needs of their patients and families as they face terminal illness. Volunteers are the heart of hospice and they're seeking individuals to share their crafting gifts and talents by creating handmade items. Volunteers made lap blankets (crochet, quilts and no-sew fleece) and butterfly pillows and then mailed or dropped off their finished items to Caring Hospice Services of South Jersey office in Mt. Laurel Township. Instructions and patterns were provided to accomodate Caring Hospice Services' patient needs.
