Event Details: Saturday, Apr. 21, 2018 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Waimanalo Beach Park (41-741 Kalanianaole Hwy, Waimanalo, HI 96795)
Learn More: Volunteers will participate in an Earth Day Celebration focused on giving back, and keeping our beaches clean. We are joining forces with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, and One Ocean Conservation Hawaii. Centered at Waimanalo Beach Park, we will be cleaning from Sherwoods to Makapu'u with spots spread out in between. This year we'll also be adding an underwater element at Makai Research Pier.
Check-in starts at 9:00 a.m. and buses will begin to depart at 9:30 a.m. to different locations nearby. Families, and people that want to stick close can clean right out in front. The buses will have you back at Waimanalo Beach Park by noon, at which point, we'll have live music, games for the kids, and a meal free from plastic!
Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
Parking is available on site. This is a rain or shine event. Restrooms are available. Snacks/lunch is provided.
