Event details: Friday, April 11, 2025 | 9 am-12 pm | Stevens Coolidge House & Gardens (153 Chickering Road, North Andover, MA 01845)
What went down: Stevens Coolidge House & Gardens is one of more than 120 special places enjoyed and cared for by The Trustees of Reservations. The mission of The Trustees nonprofit organization is to preserve, for public use and enjoyment, places of exceptional scenic, historical, and ecological value throughout Massachusetts. This property was once the summer home of Helen Stevens Coolidge and her husband, John Gardner Coolidge—a diplomat descended from Thomas Jefferson and a nephew to Isabella Stewart Gardner—from 1914 to 1962.
Volunteers gathered for landscaping in the French Garden, either replenishing the woodchip paths or planting and mulching. April is a very rewarding time of year to be out in the garden.
