What Happened: Volunteers spent time with dogs and cats who are in the care of the foundation. Pawsitive Match saves dogs and cats facing life-threatening circumstances in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Many animals in our program come from shelters that have no choice but to euthanize due to over-crowding or because they are shutting down, as well as stray animals. Some activities done by volunteers included: cleaning cat kennels, playing with the cats and dogs, and taking the dogs for walks.
The animals were so appreciative of the love and attention! The voluteers also learned the stories of some of the animals and how they came to be at the shelter, and learned more about the amazing type of work that the foundation does. Check out photos from this event in the 2018 Global Days of Service Google album.
