The campus life and driven staff.
As someone who does not come from a lot of money, scholarships allows me to focus on my education without the stress of worrying about student loans.
Thank you to those who support student scholarships! Your generosity allows us to better ourselves for the future.
The campus life and caring staff.
I wanted the chance to further my understanding of the hospitality industry and SNHU has gone above and beyond to help me reach that goal. My professors truly care for me and my future, which has set me up for success post-graduation.
I've always loved the restaurant industry, and after four years of training in back of the house work, I knew it would be beneficial to learn the front of the house operations as well. I'd love to be a restaurant owner one day and have the chance to share everything I've learned with the next generations of hospitality professionals.
Dr. Susan Torrey has coached me to be the best I possibly can be over the past year. She has helped me through classes as well as set me up for success in the future in the restaurant industry.
I work at the student-run café on campus in the Hospitality Center.
Organization has long been my biggest struggle. However, this past year has forced me to overcome this shortcoming, as I was taking many classes as well as working a full-time job.
I'm proudest of how far I've come as a human being from my freshman year. I feel like a completely different person from that point.
I want to provide the enrolled students with help in any way I can as an alumnus — whether it be in job searches or interviews for a class project.
