One thing I've loved about SNHU since the moment I stepped foot onto campus is the community. I've had the best professors and found the best friends I've ever had on campus. Everyone is super welcoming. The professors in the hospitality program really care about their students and try to make sure we learn as much as we can before we graduate.
The scholarships and financial aid I receive are a BIG help in making it possible for me to attend SNHU. Receiving a scholarship helps alleviate financial burden while I study and gain experience in my field. For example, the Timothy Russel Travel/Study Scholarship is one that has made a difference for me. I'm from Massachusetts, but I'm completing an internship at a Resort + Conference Center in Colorado. The funds from this scholarship have allowed me to travel to a new and exciting destination, while learning about the hospitality industry and gain experience to prepare me for after I graduate. This wouldn't be possible without the help of the scholarship funds.
I would like to thank the alumni, parents, and friends of SNHU who contribute to the scholarship funds. You truly do make a difference in the students lives, because many of us are held back from certain opportunities due to financial setbacks. Thank you so much for making a difference in our lives!
I chose SNHU because from the moment I stepped onto campus, I felt at home. I knew I wanted to choose a school close enough to home where I could visit, yet still be able to have a well-rounded college experience. I absolutely love the faculty in the hospitality business and culinary programs, as they have helped me in my job search, future career opportunities, and have provided meaningful experiences in the classroom.
