I love my professors who make sure to do everything they can to help me succeed.
Without scholarships and financial aid, I would not be able to go to SNHU because I would be collecting too much debt to further my education. Scholarships and financial aid provide relief that allows me to continue learning without an overwhelming amount of debt.
Thank you so much, your support means a lot and helps me further my education!
I wanted a new affordable experience in a different state.
I wanted a degree in a field I loved so I can learn more about mental health and how it influences our world today. My experience changed as I found other things that I am also interested in along the way.
I love learning about the theories of the human mind and how malleable it is. I would like to work in an area of the criminal justice system where I can make an impact by supporting those with mental illnesses.
I have learned a lot from Professor Corbo, who has made neuroscience enjoyable and got me interested in research. Along the way I learned to persevere and enjoy the process when trying to learn difficult things.
I find not knowing where my future may lead is most challenging. I try not to overthink it by being present and strengthening my skills so I'm ready for whatever life throws at me.
I am proudest of how far I've made it today, and how I grew up around a community of people who see the potential in me and help me be the best version of me.
I hope to give back to the psychology department and provide connections to those looking to pursue careers in mental health/criminal justice.
