SNHU Alumni Awards

The Southern New Hampshire University Alumni Association and the Office of Institutional Advancement proudly recognize alumni and community members who are making a meaningful difference in their professions, communities, and within SNHU.

After a brief pause, the Alumni Association Board of Directors thoughtfully refreshed the award categories to better reflect today’s SNHU alumni community and the Board’s work.

Nominations for 2026 will open in late March. Honorees will be announced and recognized at an in-person event held during Homecoming weekend.

Alumni Engagement Award (Formerly Distinguished Alumni Service)

Recognizes alumni who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and engagement with SNHU, fostering a strong alumni community and advancing the university's mission. Meet our 2024 honorees, Dr. Amanda Dolan ’13MEd ’20EdD and Becca Harris ’13.

Community Impact Award

Established in 2026, this award honors alumni who have made significant contributions to equity, social justice, and community development through advocacy, leadership, and service. 

SNHU Emerging Leader Award

Established in 2000, this award recognizes alumni who graduated within the last five years and have demonstrated leadership, engagement, and a commitment to supporting the SNHU Alumni Association and the university. Meet our 2024 honoree, Connor Chute '22.

Founders Award (formerly Alumni Hall of Fame Award)

Pays tribute to individuals who have demonstrated sustained commitment, leadership, and contributions to SNHU, leaving a lasting impact on the university's growth and success. Meet our 2024 honoree, Sampath Deva ’95G.

Professional Achievement Award

Established in 2026, this award recognizes alumni who have made outstanding contributions in their professional industry through innovation, leadership, and lasting impact.
