Welcome from Guest Blogger Tim Gerardi '04
Hello,
At SNHU, May is a time of new beginnings. We awarded 14,836 degrees worldwide this academic year, including 8,934 undergraduate degrees, 5,887 graduate degrees, and 15 doctoral degrees. These individuals joined a global network of more than 84,000 alumni and started a new type of involvement with the University. As we welcome the Class of 2017 to the SNHU Alumni Association, it is up to us to help nurture these new relationships.
Staying engaged as an alumnus/a can happen in a variety of ways, from volunteering at Homecoming Weekend, to serving with SNHU during Global Days of Service, or joining the Alumni Board of Directors. You can also lend your professional expertise to SNHU students through mock interviews, networking events, or speaking in the classroom, like Lt. John Marasco '11G.
How this new chapter unfolds is unique to everyone. I encourage each of you to continue to give back to SNHU and lead by example for these new alumni. Below are a few ways you can stay engaged in the coming months.
Timothy J. Gerardi '04President, SNHU Alumni Association
Congratulations to the SNHU Class of 2017!
SNHU Global Days of Service
95 Projects | 791 Volunteers | 4,592 Total Hours Served
The SNHU Community made the world a better place by volunteering in April. For our second annual Global Days of Service, we set out with a goal to serve at 85 project sites in honor of our 85th anniversary...we surpassed that! We're proud of the alumni, students, faculty, and staff that came together around the country, and even Rwanda, to strengthen our communities through service in the name of SNHU. Relive the 2017 projects with our #ServeWithSNHU Storify. You can also upload your own photos or view our shared Google album. SNHU Community - YOU ROCK!
