I enjoyed most the welcoming atmosphere and the smaller campus size.
This scholarship is a tremendous help to my family and myself in affording my higher education. Due to your generosity I'm able to have a stronger focus on my academics and athletics, instead of needing to work in-season to be able to afford my loan payments. Not having to worry about trying to find time to work in-season between classes, practices, lifts, games, homework, and meals is a weight lifted off of my shoulders that I'm forever grateful for.
This scholarship is a huge help — your kindness and generosity is something that will stick with me forever. I'm truly appreciative of you.
I choose SNHU for the small campus size and proximity to my hometown.
I have always had a passion for sports, so I knew I wanted to have a career in it. I don't necessarily have a dream job just yet, but working for a professional sports team is something I would like to achieve.
Coach Munson, the head field hockey coach at SNHU, has had the biggest influence on my SNHU experience. She not only helped me develop personally, but professionally as well. One lesson she taught me is to savor every moment, even the tiniest ones.
I've been involved with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), athletics equipment room, and athletics marketing.
I found balancing a full-time course load and a field hockey schedule to be the most challenging. I dealt with this through the support of my coaching staff, the Wolak Learning Center, and by implementing some time management skills.
I'm proud of the fact that I will graduate from SNHU with my bachelor's degree.
I plan on staying involved by supporting the athletics teams.Back to Meet Our Students
