Learn more: Bags of Hope seeks to bring hope to the Lake Norman and greater Charlotte area by supplying free weekend food provisions to school children who experience food insecurity.
You're invited to a Packing Party! "Packing Parties" at the warehouse are a blast for adults and kids! Volunteers will pack gallon-sized Ziploc bags with non-perishable items that will be delivered to the schools in the following weeks. Volunteers will work in an assembly line fashion at long tables to ensure that each bag receives the same items.
Your site leader, Jessie, will share a list of donations registered volunteers can bring day of. You're also welcome to send donations directly to the organization through their Amazon Wish List.
Parking is available on site. Project is indoors and volunteers will have access to bathroom facilities.
