Learn more: Room Redux is a nonprofit organization that focuses on transforming the rooms of children who have faced sexual or physical abuse. This can be a powerful tool to foster healing. Through donations and grants, Room Redux fully transforms children’s rooms so they will feel comfortable and safe. A new room = a new start. Volunteers are needed for a hands on room refresh (reorganization and renovation) for a child sponsored by Room Redux. Once registered, your project leader will reach out with the exact street address. Project will involve painting, basic level construction projects, organizing, and cleaning. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing they don't mind getting dirty. The Room Refresh will take 2-3 hours; volunteers are welcome to stay longer if they're able and interested. Water and lunch will be provided.
