SNHU Homecoming: Mountains of Memories Oct. 13-15 | Virtual and In-person
Homecoming Weekend is just a few days away! With in-person and virtual events and on demand activities, you can join in on the celebrations from wherever you are. View the full schedule of events and activities. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Highlights include: Student and Alumni Affinity Brunch 10 am-12 pm | Alumni Hall, Gustafson Welcome Center (SNHU, Manchester, NH)
Meet or reconnect with SNHU community members involved with The Chandler Center, Campus Honors Program, Deborah L. Coffin Women's Center, Diversity Programs, Residence Life, and the Alumni Association Board of Directors. University Provost Lisa Marsh Ryerson will give brief remarks around 10:45 am. Come for all or some of the time before heading to the rest of your fun-filled day. Homecoming shirts will be available to all attendees. Learn more and register.
SNHU Archives Showcase
Homecoming is a time of year to reminisce over your favorite memories! We want to see the "Mountains of Memories" you've collected during your time at NHC/SNHU. Share photos of your treasured memorabilia and the story behind them. Submissions are open through Homecoming Weekend.

October Career Webinars
Explore your future and join SNHU Career Services for a series of events in the month of October. Sessions will cover topics such as interviewing, starting or advancing in your career, as well as cyber security and data privacy.

Take Back the Night Thursday, Oct. 19 | 6-8 pm ET | Robert Frost Hall (Walker Auditorium) and Livestream
The Deborah L. Coffin Women’s Center is hosting their annual Take Back the Night (TBTN)! TBTN is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence which provides survivors and allies a space to be in community around this issue. There will be guest speakers, giveaways, and a march around campus to culminate the evening. The opening speakers and kickoff will be livestreamed. This event is open to all SNHU community members. No registration is required. Join us on campus or virtually.
Fall Fiction Contest
SNHU is hosting its 9th annual Fall Fiction Contest, where you can showcase your talents and creativity by submitting an original short story. This contest is open to any writer, based in the continental U.S., and submissions will be accepted until Oct. 31. By entering, you'll have the opportunity to win up to $3,000 in SNHU scholarships, have your short story featured in The Penmen Review and more. Review the submission guidelines for more information.
Submit Your Video Game for Thankmas 2023 Streaming Event
Thankmas takes place in December and is a month-long gaming event where streamers raise money toward an organization chosen by YouTuber, Jacksepticeye. In 2022, Thankmas raised more than 10 million for the World Central Kitchen. SNHU staff involved in the gaming community are planning multiple streams throughout December and will be dedicating a stream to showcase games designed by alumni. Learn more and enter your submission before Tuesday, Oct. 31.

These interviews allow campus-based students to connect with alumni and/or employer partners to practice interviewing skills. Kevin Byrne ’23, of Portland, Oregon, will publish his psychological thriller, Sensations, on October 8. 100% of the royalties he receives from his book sale will go to the Oregon Chapter of the National MS Society to support their fight against the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Tim Weaver ’23 of Charleston, South Carolina, is working toward his Master's of Science in Accounting at SNHU.
Laura Berkman ’23, of Bangor, Maine, landed their dream job as direct support professional at a residential group home for adults with disabilities.
Rick Williams ’22, of Orange Park, Florida, was promoted to senior consultant and is now the project manager on over 30 projects at Ellucian, Inc.
