Writers across the continental U.S. are invited to share their original short stories this October. Submissions are open through Oct. 31, with the chance to win up to $3,000 in SNHU scholarships, see your work featured in The Penmen Review, and more. The Chandler Center 2025-2026 Annual Report: A Celebration of 20 Years of Impact
The Chandler Center celebrated 20 years of helping SNHU students serve, lead and make a difference in their communities. Made possible in part through the generosity of Laurie ’89MBA and Clarke Chandler, the Center continues to create meaningful opportunities for civic learning and engagement.
Last year, 978 students contributed 14,194 hours of service through initiatives ranging from service- learning and Alternative Break to student support and community partnerships. Michael Bradley ’24, of Newark, Delaware, published his fifth suspense novel, "Those Who Shall Die," which has been named a "Distinguished Favorite" by the NYC Big Book Awards.
John Dubel ’24, of Emporium, Pennsylvania, was awarded an MS in biodiversity conservation management from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on Aug. 17, 2026.
Gustavo Perez ’22G, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was recognized as one of the 25 most influential Latinos in West Michigan for 2026 by Vive Magazine.
Katrina E. Taylor ’14G, of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, was promoted to executive director of the NH Commission for Human Rights in Nov. 2025.
