SNHU celebrated the achievements of more than 47,600 eligible graduates ranging in age from 14 to 84 at in-person and virtual ceremonies held in the spring and fall. In 2025, the university awarded 37,990 undergraduate degrees, 9,600 graduate degrees and 30 doctoral degrees. These degree holders joined a global alumni community counting 314,000 strong.
On May 3-4, SNHU held its 96th Commencement across four in-person ceremonies. The spring class of 2025 celebrated 19,000 graduates from across the U.S. and around the world. Among them were over 3,600 military-affiliated learners. The celebrations continued during a virtual ceremony on May 24. The spring Commencement ceremonies marked a proud and memorable milestone for graduates and their supporters.
Spring 2025 student speakers shared inspiring stories, each illustrating the unique obstacles they navigated to achieve their academic goals during the virtual and in-person ceremoniesd. Though their backgrounds and life experiences differed, their journeys echoed themes of persistence, courage and transformation. Collectively, their voices embodied the essence of the SNHU Class of 2025: a diverse and driven community bound by determination and passion.

On Nov. 22-23, SNHU celebrated its 97th Commencement across four in-person ceremonies, making Fall 2025 the largest Commencement weekend in SNHU's history. Fall 2025 graduating class comprised over 28,600 learners from all 50 states and 61 countries, with ages spanning from 17 to 84. Among them were 5,758 military-affiliated learners, a testament to the class’s wide-reaching and inclusive community. The Commencement ceremonies offered graduates and their loved ones a memorable moment of pride and celebration.
Graduates who could not attend in person were recognized in a virtual ceremony on Dec. 13. At both virtual and in-person ceremonies, student speakers offered inspiring insights drawn from the experiences that guided their journeys. Their paths varied widely, yet each story carried common threads of resilience, perseverance, and hope.
