What made you choose Southern New Hampshire University, and what do you value most about your experience here?

I chose Southern New Hampshire University because I was offered the opportunity to play baseball, and through sports, I was able to get a great education at Southern New Hampshire. What I value most are the opportunities from my coaches and teammates, the professors, the students I have met, working with the team at Patriots games, going to Red Sox games, and let me not forget, scraping ice, zero degree temperature, and 70 inches of snow. The memories that I have made and opportunities I've had have contributed my personal and educational growth.

How do the scholarships and financial aid you receive make it possible for you to attend SNHU? How have they made a difference for you?

These scholarships help offset the financial burden that is put on my family.

What message would you like to share with the alumni and friends whose generosity made your scholarship possible?

I promise to keep working hard with my academics and represent the school and athletics at the highest levels with all my endeavors.

Tell us about your journey to and through SNHU. What inspired you to pursue your degree, and what are you most proud of so far?

What inspired me to pursue my degree was understanding the value a degree can hold and the opportunities it can create. It can open doors that other accomplishments may not, and earning one means a great deal to me. I am proud to be on track to complete my degree and achieve a goal that represents so much hard work and academic success.

How has receiving scholarship support shaped your experience at SNHU or influenced your future plans?

Receiving scholarship support has given me the opportunity to focus more fully on my academics instead of worrying about how I will pay for my education. I am super grateful for the support.

Has a person, class, or experience at SNHU had a meaningful impact on you? Please share.

Chris Duhaime, a sales professor at SNHU has helped me so much the past semester. He always walked into class everyday with an unbelievably positive attitude and it made the class more exciting each day.
