The welcoming community and the strive to helps students in any way possible.
As a full time student, the financial burden of paying for college by myself is daunting. Even working part-time is only enough to pay my bills and groceries for the month, let alone a loan payment. Scholarship assistance helps lessen the stress that the cost of school instills on not just me, but to anyone who is paying for their own education.
Thank you, truly. The stress of crippling debt due to the cost of secondary-education is in many students. These scholarship funds are some of the only ways in which we can attend college and grow our knowledge.
The faculty and staff truly care for their students and will do anything in their power to help them succeed. The campus itself is always buzzing with life and welcoming to all.
My little brother and I are first generation college students. For us, it's not only about expanding our education, but also breaking the trend for our family.
I've always been good at math and interpreting it to others. I'm not sure what my "dream job" is exactly yet, but I know it somehow works with data, technology, and communicating with others.
There have been a multitude of professors and others who've influenced me, some of which are no longer in the university. The few that come to mind are as follows: Dr. Colton Sawyer, Dr. Adam Gilbert, and Nicole Destephano. These individuals have encouraged me to be determined, patient, and to take care of myself.
I have an on-campus job at Postal Services, and I was once a Peer Educator in the Learning Center.
Personally, I find that trying to have a healthy balance of school and personal time challenging. What helps me is creating lists of things I absolutely must complete on a certain day, and any other spare time that I may have is spent doing things I enjoy or relaxing.
I'm most proud of my President's List achievement that I've earned for every semester that I've attended SNHU.
I would like to learn about alumni events and ways in which I could help students in the same major as I am in right now.
