I chose SNHU because it offered me both independence and a way to stay close to home. The small campus allowed me to connect with my instructors and classmates on a personal level. I valued the memories I made here and the experiences that taught me to grow outside of my comfort zone.
The scholarships and financial aid allow me to receive the fullest experience at SNHU with little financial stress.
Thank you for seeing me and believing in me.
My parents instilled in me the value of education from an early age, and they worked hard for me to be where I am now, which is why I pursued my degree. I chose SNHU because I valued a campus that equally valued me as a student and individual. I met incredible classmates, instructors, and faculty who inspired and challenged me to be the best version of myself. I am most proud of stepping outside of my comfort zone even though it was terrifying because I experienced some amazing opportunities.
Scholarship support eased the financial burden of higher education and allowed me to focus on my studies.
My creative writing professor, Lizbette Ocasio-Russe, encouraged me through my writing process and my personal goals as well. She helped me get published in my first literary magazine. She's one of my biggest cheerleaders. I also want to shout out The Chandler Center for the amazing opportunities they gave me as a student employee. My work with them inspired me to pursue a career in the policy and nonprofit sectors.
