What made you choose Southern New Hampshire University, and what do you value most about your experience here?

I chose SNHU because I was inspired by the success stories of people like me who returned to school after many years away. I value my advisor and instructors for their patience and understanding. They make the experience a great one. I also value what I'm learning, which will help me help others.

How do the scholarships and financial aid you receive make it possible for you to attend SNHU? How have they made a difference for you?

The financial aid and scholarships give me a sense of security that I can complete my degree and has relieved some of the financial strain associated with completing school.

What message would you like to share with the alumni and friends whose generosity made your scholarship possible?

I want to say thank you. Your contributions will help me and others in my community. Lives will be changed due to this help.

Tell us about your journey to and through SNHU. What inspired you to pursue your degree, and what are you most proud of so far?

My journey at SNHU has been great. I was inspired to return to school 28 years after graduating high school. My goal is to help people suffering from substance abuse. I didn't believe that I could be successful at college after being out of school so long, but the advisors and instructors have been so helpful in helping me succeed. I am most proud of the example that I'm setting for my kids. If you believe, you can succeed.

How has receiving scholarship support shaped your experience at SNHU or influenced your future plans?

Receiving the Online & Continuing Education Scholarship has given me a sense of security that achieving my goals is possible. I have had such a great experience at SNHU.

The entry process has been my most meaningful experience. My advisor walked me through each step and made sure that I was equipped with everything needed for success at SNHU.
