My experience is how supported I’ve felt — my instructors, advisors, and courses have all helped me grow academically, while also giving me a sense of purpose during a difficult time. SNHU has given me the confidence to keep moving forward, and every class reminds me why I started this journey in the first place. It has truly become a meaningful part of rebuilding my future.
Scholarships and financial aid are the reason I’m able to continue my education at SNHU while supporting my family and managing everything life has placed on my shoulders. As a working mother who is still healing from the loss of my oldest child two years ago, the financial support removes a level of stress that would otherwise make school feel out of reach. Instead of worrying about how to afford each term, I’m able to stay focused on my classes, my goals, and the future I’m building for my children. These resources have given me stability, hope, and the ability to keep moving forward with purpose during a time when that hasn’t always been easy.
I would want them to know how deeply their generosity reaches into the lives of students like me. Your support isn’t just financial — it creates space for hope, healing, and possibility. Because of your kindness, I’ve been able to continue my education during one of the hardest chapters of my life, after losing my oldest child two years ago. Your belief in my potential reminds me that I’m not walking this journey alone, and it motivates me to keep moving forward for myself and for my family. I would thank you all sincerely for investing in my future and for making a real, lasting difference in the lives of students who are working hard to build something better.
I came to SNHU during a turning point in my life, shortly after losing my oldest child two years ago. Continuing my education became part of my healing, giving me something meaningful to work toward and a future I could still build for my family. What inspired me most was the promise I made to myself — and to him — to keep growing, keep learning, and create a life filled with purpose. Through SNHU, I’ve discovered strength I didn’t know I had, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made while balancing grief, parenting, work, and school. Every class I complete reminds me that I’m moving forward, and that alone is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Receiving scholarship support has shaped my experience at SNHU in ways that go far beyond easing financial stress. It has allowed me to stay fully committed to my degree while balancing work, parenting, and the emotional weight of losing my oldest child two years ago. Instead of worrying about how I will afford each term, I’m able to focus on learning, healing, and building a future that honors the promises I’ve made to myself and my family. These scholarships have given me stability and the confidence to keep moving forward, and they’ve made it possible for me to pursue long‑term goals in environmental science that once felt out of reach. They’ve influenced my future plans by giving me the freedom to dream bigger and the support to actually follow through.
One of the most meaningful impacts on my journey at SNHU has come from the way my instructors and courses have pushed me to grow both academically and personally. Certain classes in my Environmental Science program have opened my eyes to new ideas, strengthened my confidence, and reminded me why I chose this field in the first place. I’ve also appreciated how supportive and encouraging the SNHU community has been — it has made me feel capable, motivated, and connected, even while balancing school with work and family. That combination of challenge and support has shaped my experience in a really positive way.
