"Receiving a scholarship has shown me the importance of hard work, and it feels like someone out there recognized me and believed in me."

What made you choose Southern New Hampshire University, and what do you value most about your experience here?

SNHU made it possible for me to return to school. They provided the right support, encouragement, and structure that worked for me and challenged me. I am forever grateful to SNHU.

How do the scholarships and financial aid you receive make it possible for you to attend SNHU? How have they made a difference for you?

I am very grateful for the scholarship I received from SNHU. Not only for the financial assistance that was so greatly needed, but for the fact that someone believed in me. Someone believed in investing in my education, it means some much to me.

What message would you like to share with the alumni and friends whose generosity made your scholarship possible?

I am so grateful to you! You've made a true difference in my life.

Tell us about your journey to and through SNHU. What inspired you to pursue your degree, and what are you most proud of so far?

I started with SNHU in 2022 when I decided to go back to school to complete my bachelor's degree. It was one of the best decisions. A few years after completing my bachelor's in communications, I came back to work on my graduate degree, and now I'm three classes away!

How has receiving scholarship support shaped your experience at SNHU or influenced your future plans?

Receiving a scholarship has shown me the importance of hard work, and it feels like someone out there recognized me and believed in me. It truly made a difference in my life.

Has a person, class, or experience at SNHU had a meaningful impact on you? Please share.

The professors at SNHU have been some of the most lovely and encouraging people I have met. My academic advisors have walked with me through personal set backs and help me navigate my education, while still seeing me as a full person.
