The SoCal crew is excited to offer two opportunities for SNHU Community members to connect this summer! Check out the line up of events:
When: Friday, August 16, 2019 | 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.Where: Safe Place for Youth (2469 Lincoln Blvd., Venice, CA)
Join your fellow Penmen for an exciting volunteer opportunity making a difference in the lives of homeless youth. Volunteers will be sorting donations and other activities at Safe Place for Youth, a Venice-based nonprofit organization that provides immediate and lasting solutions to homeless youth, one person at a time.
Wear your favorite SNHU gear and closed-toe shoes are a must! Ample street parking is available in the area. Limit 1 guest per SNHU registrant.
When: Saturday, August 17, 2019 | 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.Where: Huntington State Beach bonfire rings (at the intersection of Newland Street and the Pacific Coast Highway)Price: There is no charge for this event! Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be provided.
Help us welcome the newest members of the SNHU community with a beach bonfire party at the famous Huntington Beach! Meet local SNHU alumni and students and celebrate the end of summer. The exact location will be posted to the SoCal SNHU Community Group on Facebook the day of the event. Limit 1 guest per SNHU registrant.
