Welcome from guest blogger Wade Philbrick '85
Giving back to SNHU is an important aspect of being an alumnus. SNHU provided me with a critical foundation of business acumen. The faculty and staff at SNHU were focused on helping me build the skill set to survive a tough corporate business environment, and and I was fortunate to have great mentors who cared about my career, post-graduation. I have been able to succeed in the business world due to the education and skills I acquired in the undergraduate program.
I now feel like it is my duty to help others as I’ve been helped. I am fortunate to be one of the founding members of the SNHU Community of Southern California. It is our goal to continue to give back to the university through growing our alumni network and developing our community service outreach. Global Days of Service, this coming April, provides another opportunity for us to give back to our community and strengthen our ties with SNHU. I encourage all students and alumni to give back where you can. There is so much need in our country, and the SNHU family can make a tremendous difference.
Here’s to proud Penmen making a difference...cheers!

Lynchburg Grows, the non-profit organization the students will be working with while in the area, is a vendor for the restaurant. Interested in participating? Contact Sara Telfer.
