Event Details: Thursday, Apr. 19, 2018 | Shift 1: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Shift 2: 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | NH Food Bank Production Garden (Sununu Youth Services Center, 1056 River Road, Manchester, NH)
Learn More: The NH Food Bank Production Garden grows vegetables for the NH Food Bank. Volunteers will help with gardening tasks, such as, flipping the beds, preparing the fields, digging new beds, etc. These tasks are performed outdoors and volunteers should be prepared for physical activity in all weather conditions.
Youth 6+ are welcome with parent/guardian present.
Parking is limited, please carpool if possible.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Shovels will be available. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and gardening gloves, if you wish.
