Event details: Tuesday, April 16, 2024 | 9 am-12 pm | Lawrence Library (15 Main Street, Pepperell, MA)
Learn more: The Pepperell Invasive and Native Plant Advisory Committee (INPAC) hosted the Garlic Mustard Challenge! Volunteers were needed to prevent the further spread of garlic mustard. Garlic mustard is a nonnative, herbaceous plant that invades fields and woodlands, displacing native vegetation. Garlic mustard can change soil conditions to inhibit the growth of most other plants.
The SNHU group gathered to pull as much garlic mustard as they could. Thankfully, pulling garlic mustard is easy (and gratifying!).
Meet your project leader: SNHU employee Jennifer Coviello is leading this project. If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact Alumni Engagement. And, check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
