Alumni, Family and Friends
What Happened: The Global Days of Service Flying Friends event was held Saturday, April 21st at the Southern New Hampshire University main campus. The purpose of the event was to build bird feeders using household recyclables to help the local wild bird population. The event was a success! Eight large bird feeders and numerous small bird feeders were created with the help of volunteers. Allenstown’s Boy Scout Troop 97 participated in the event along with SNHU staff member Vanessa Rocco and her daughter. The completed bird feeders were installed at the volunteer’s homes, helping birds in their area. Check out the 2018 Global Days of Service Google album for photos from this project.
