Fran Lefavour has been in the Human Resources field for over 30 years, 24 of those years as a consultant to small businesses in New England. She is viewed as an expert in the area of workers’ compensation case management and frequently speaks to groups regarding claims management, reducing workers’ compensation costs and other Human Resource topics.
Fran has been involved with a number of state and regional organizations including the NH Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, NH Wage & Hour Penalty Appeals Board and NH Public Employee Relations Board. Fran also served as a member of the adjunct faculty of the UNH Division of Continuing Education, Vice Chair of the Business & Industry Association Human Resources Committee and Chair of the BIA Worker’s Compensation Subcommittee.
Fran is a board member of the Seacoast Human Resource Association, Chair of the Succession Planning Committee of the Granite State Human Resource Conference and a founding member, in addition to being Treasurer, of the Run for the Fallen New Hampshire. She was the recipient of the 2015 NH State Council Volunteer of the Year award.
Heather Fernandes ’15 MBA is a Strategic Project Manager for Merchants Fleet Management where she is responsible for managing business groups, development groups, as well as contracted resources to deliver solutions partnered with technology to clients and internal stakeholders. Heather also focuses on collaboration across business units to drive continuous process improvements focused on the customer. Heather is passionate about quality, team engagement and relationship building within organizations and has a varied background in international account management, sales, marketing and general business operations. Fernandes holds a BS in Management from The Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH and an MBA specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management from SNHU.
Kristy Hiller '02 joined Human Resource Partners, LLC in 2016. Kristy has over 16 years of experience in the Human Resources field, working from small to large sized employers in the nonprofit and private sectors. Prior to Human Resource Partners, she has served organizations in industries ranging from Information Technology, Banking, Hospital, and Healthcare Information Support. Having held various HR positions in addition to creation and oversight of a Human Resources department as Senior Director, Kristy is able to provide insight into areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee life cycle, employee relations and off boarding. Her experience brings an understanding into the various angles of what an employee and manager will bring to the table regarding human resource needs. Kristy’s demonstrated positive energy and approachability have allowed for relationship building amongst varying layers of staff within organizations. In addition, her ability to maintain an open, transparent communication style have allowed for creation of a foundation of trust within the work environment.
Kristy earned her Bachelor of Science majoring in Business Studies/Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University. She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She has volunteered within the community for both the Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast/The Housing Partnership, Southern New Hampshire University and the Executive Service Corps of Northern New England.
