School of Business Scholarship Fund: The Southern New Hampshire University Alumni Association and the School of Business have raised money to support this scholarship program. It provides scholarships to students pursuing an undergraduate or masters degree within the School of Business. Awards are based on need and academic criteria.
Dr. Marty J. Bradley Business Honors Scholarship: This scholarship was created in memory of Marty J. Bradley, a former SNHU professor and the first director of the 3Year Business Honors Program. This scholarship will support Bradley Scholars within the SNHU Honors Program who demonstrate financial need.
Henry W. Bloch Scholarship Fund: This fund was established as a gift to the university by H & R Block founder and Southern New Hampshire University honorary degree recipient, Henry W. Bloch. This scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled in their junior or senior year at Southern New Hampshire University, are academically qualified students in a business major and have demonstrated financial need. Priority is given to students who are highly involved in college life and activities.
Economics/Finance Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship fund will be offered in the future to support students in the Economics/Finance program who have a GPA of 3.0 or better; based on need and academic criteria. Finlay Family Scholarship: Established by Southern New Hampshire University alumnus, Robert J. Finlay '92, this scholarship supports New Hampshire residents pursuing an undergraduate or masters business degree. Preference will be given to students who display an entrepreneurial spirit and can show financial need.
Hawaux Foundation Scholarship: This scholarship supports students enrolled in the traditional full-time undergraduate day program. It will be awarded to rising seniors in the Sports Management program with a minimum GPA of 2.7. The recipient must demonstrate financial need.
The John and Nancy Burk Endowed Scholarship: The scholarship is created in memory of George Teloian, professor emeritus of accounting. Professor Teloian served as long term Chairman of the Accounting Board at SNHU. During the course of his 36 year career, he inspired, mentored and helped launch the accounting careers of many students until his retirement in 1998. This scholarship supports undergrad or masters degree students, on-campus or online, majoring in accounting who demonstrate financial need. Undergraduate students must be of junior or senior status.
Tony Lambert Scholarship Fund: The Tony Lambert Memorial Fund was established by the Lambert family to support retailing and management majors. Funds are awarded to juniors based on need and academic criteria.
Dr. Jacqueline Mara Scholarship: Established by former Dean and Trustee emeritus, Dr. Jacqueline Mara, this scholarship supports full-time day mastres degree students of U.S. citizenship with preference given to those enrolled in traditional business disciplines; based on academic merit and need.
George Teloian Scholarship: George Teloian, professor emeritus of accounting, has made provisions for an endowment fund in his name. Scholarships are awarded to juniors and seniors majoring in accounting. Awards are based on academic achievement in the accounting major, overall record, excellence in involvement in university life and activities, and financial need.
Frank & Eleanor Barnes Alumni Scholarship: Established in 1979, in honor of Frank and Eleanor Barnes, former Southern New Hampshire University information technology professors, this scholarship is available to assist students majoring in Information Technology or Accounting/Information Systems and is based on need and academic criteria.
Scott Caswell Memorial Scholarship: After his death in 1987, this fund was created by friends of Scott Caswell to benefit juniors or seniors who are enrolled in computer-related majors. Recipients must be residents of New Hampshire and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
William Trueheart Scholarship: Established in honor of former SNHU professor, William Trueheart. This scholarship fund is offered to support information technology majors with financial need. Preference is given to juniors or seniors with a GPA of 3.3 or better. Ronald L. Woodward Memorial Scholarship: The Ronald L. Woodward Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of a former Southern New Hampshire University student and Rochester, N.Y. native by the Southern New Hampshire University Alumni Association. Students whose homes are located in Upstate New York shall be given first priority. Preference will be given to students majoring in Accounting, Accounting/Information Systems, Information Technology, and Business Administration, based on need.
Hospitality Scholarship Fund: This scholarship will support traditional undergraduate day students on the Manchester Campus enrolled in a business program with demonstrated financial need.
Ernest Iamundo/Labatt USA Scholarship: Scholarships will support traditional undergraduate day students on the Manchester campus enrolled in a business program with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to a junior or senior.
Timothy Russell Travel/Study Scholarship: This scholarship supports students with funds to travel to and from their internship location. Students must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA majoring in Hospitality Management and qualify for credit bearing internships outside of New England, either nationally or internationally.

School of Arts and Sciences Scholarship: Awards will be made to undergraduate students majoring in the programs traditionally identified as the Liberal Arts, who have maintained a GPA of 3.3 or higher, using standard need and academic criteria.
John P. Fleming Memorial Scholarship Fund: Established in memory of John P. Fleming, a former SNHU faculty member, this scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in the programs traditionally identified as the Liberal Arts.
Stephen F. Knapp Scholarship Fund: This scholarship supports students pursuing a masters degree with a focus in Special Education and have demonstrated financial need.
James D. Walter Memorial Scholarship: Established in memory of James D. Walter, a longtime professor of Sociology at SNHU. This scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students majoring in a liberal arts discipline, with preference given to sociology majors.
Kimon and Anne Zachos Scholarship: Awards will be made to full-time undergraduate day students majoring in a liberal arts discipline. The scholarship will primarily be based on financial need.
The Walter Zimmermann Scholarship Fund: Established by former Southern New Hampshire University faculty, Walter Zimmermann. This scholarship supports students who are enrolled full-time in the University College division with a declared major of Psychology. Students must be of junior or senior status and in good academic standing. Preferences will be given to students who are making positive contributions to the psychology department and have demonstrated financial need.
Elaine I. Routhier Costigan & Ronald J. Costigan Scholarship: This scholarship fund supports continuing education students, based on financial need.
Online and Continuing Education Scholarship: This scholarship supports online students with proven financial need.Dr. Jeannette A. Ritzenthaler Scholarship: The estate of Dr. Jeanette Ritzenthaler made provisions for an endowed scholarship to be awarded to a student from the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Students should be enrolled in an SNHU Global Campus undergraduate program. The student must be in their junior year (or with junior level credits) pursuing a bachelors degree, have financial need, be maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and provide evidence of leadership through involvement in school and community activities. Martha Van Hyland Scholarship: This fund was created in memory of Southern New Hampshire University alumna Martha Van Hyland '94 to support Belknap County residents matriculated in an SNHU Global Campus bachelor's degree program. Students must maintain 3.0 GPA or higher and show financial need.
Veterans Scholarship: This scholarship, founded by alumni who are veterans of the Vietnam War, supports current students who are veterans, the dependents of veterans, or actively serving in the military. Awards are based on need and academic criteria.
Edward Nassar Veterans Memorial Scholarship: The Southern New Hampshire University Alumni Association has created this scholarship fund in memory of Edward Nassar, a former SNHU student. Preference is given to veterans of the armed forces and/or their dependents. A GPA of 2.8 or higher is required, awarded based on financial need and academic standing.
The Veterans Relief Scholarship: This scholarship provides short-term emergency financial relief to students who demonstrate unforeseen financial hardship and are in good academic standing and have served in the armed forces of the United States of America.
Charles & Barbara Bickford International Scholarship: This scholarship shall be awarded to undergraduate or master degree international student(s). Preference will be given to needy students in the following order: students from Vietnam or Cambodia, students from Southeast Asia or China, then lastly from other foreign countries. Helder Biesek/Mildred K. Smith Scholarship: This fund was established by John and Catherine-Ann (Smith) Day in memory of Catherine-Ann's mother, Mildred K. Smith, and Helder Biesek, a former student of Catherine-Ann's at the Institute for Language Education (ILE), who was killed in a tragic accident before completing his education. While still alive, Mildred K. Smith earnestly desired that this scholarship be established in Helder's memory to enable future students at the ILE to continue their education at Southern New Hampshire University. The scholarship supports international students enrolled in the University's English as a Second Language program based on academic potential and financial need.
Hassa Jadvani Memorial Scholarship: This fund supports students pursuing a masters degree within the School of Business. Preference will be given to students enrolled in the International Business or Finance curriculum using standard need and academic criteria. In a year when there are no deserving needy students majoring in the indicated subject areas, the awards may be presented to other students enrolled in the Graduate School of Business.
Li Xu Scholarship Fund: This fund was established in memory of SNHU student Li Xu (a/k/a Oscar). This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate or masters degree students who demonstrate the strong giving and sharing spirit of Li Xu by showing their commitment to the needs of new students. Scholarship applicants should demonstrate their interest in helping new students understand the academic culture of the University and social culture of New Hampshire in an effort to assist them in adjusting to the University. This scholarship is open to both international and U.S. students.
Diane Sciscioli Dugan Scholarship Fund: The fund was established in December 2022 by Diane Sciscioli Dugan. During the course of her 20-year career as a Professor, Diane inspired, mentored, and helped create and launch the ESL Program (English As a Second Language) at SNHU in 1981. Diane’s leadership and dedication of the ESL Program helped many students become fluent in English which led to them becoming extremely successful at SNHU and in their professional careers. This scholarship supports students with an active F-1 or J-1 visa to study in the United States. Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or masters degree program and demonstrate financial need.
Kappa Chi Scholarship: The Southern New Hampshire University Alumni Association and the Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority, Kappa Chi Chapter have raised money to support this scholarship program. Consideration is given to students who are members of the Kappa Chi Sorority.
Kappa Delta Phi Scholarship: This scholarship supports needy and deserving students at Southern New Hampshire University.Preference will be given to members of the Kappa Delta Phi fraternity.
Alumni Leadership Scholarship: Created by the Alumni Board of Directors, this scholarship supports students who have completed at least two terms with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients will have demonstrated leadership skills in the SNHU community and be actively engaged in student life.
Athletics Scholarship Fund: This scholarship fund will be offered in the future to support sophomores, juniors, and seniors involved in athletics.
Hector Boiardi Scholarship: This fund was established in memory of Hector Boiardi to support traditional undergraduate day students studying on the Manchester campus with demonstrated financial need. Recipients will be currently working in the culinary or hospitality field or have a proven interest to do so.
Sid Casel Scholarship: This scholarship will support traditional undergraduate students studying on the Manchester campus who have demonstrated financial need.
Community Economic Development Fund: This fund provides scholarship assistance for students who demonstrate an active interest in working to address economic needs of low-income individuals, families, or communities, or to make their communities stronger, more sustainable, and/or better places to live and work by addressing social, environmental, or economic issues.
Michael DeBlasi Scholarship Fund: This scholarship supports full-time undergraduate day students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and necessary financial need.
Dow Scholarship: This fund was established from the Franconia College Endowment to provide scholarships with preference first to students who reside in the towns of Franconia, Sugar Hill Easton, Bethlehem, Littleton, or Lisbon, and second to students who reside in Grafton and Coos Counties.
Ed Daniels Track and Field Endowment Fund: The fund was established in December of 2021 by Ed Daniels, who served in various leadership roles at SNHU for over 31 years. Ed’s passion for training and mentoring student athletes in the throwing events is evident by his commitment to the Track & Field Program. Ed has been the Assistant Coach for the women’s throwing events since the inception of SNHU’s Track & Field Program in 2014. This fund provides resources to help coach and mentor student athletes participating in the SNHU Track and Field Program, as well as provides financial assistance in other areas of the program.
Educational Continuum Scholarship: This fund was established by the Southern New Hampshire University Educational Continuum. This scholarship is awarded to qualified students from Manchester and the surrounding area based on financial need and academic merit.
Findlen-LeBlanc Travel Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students participating in the Study Abroad program who show financial need. Preference will be given to Pell eligible students. This scholarship will be used for study abroad expenses.
Fisher Family Scholarship: The Fisher family established this scholarship fund to be awarded to undergraduate day students who have shown a commitment to their education by utilizing the services of the Wolak Learning Center at the University and/or a tutor who has made significant contributions to the success of students using the Wolak Learning Center services.
Herman L. Graffunder Scholarship: This scholarship will support traditional undergraduate day students on the Manchester campus who are facing financial hardships preventing them from continuing to make progress in their academic program.
Howard Brodsky Scholarship Fund: This fund was established to honor longtime friend of Southern New Hampshire University, Howard Brodsky. Howard has loyally served as a member of the SNHU Board of Trustees since 2000. This fund will support undergraduate students, studying online or on campus, who have participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program. Preference of consideration will be given to students who are first generation college students or students who have recently immigrated to the United States.
William S. Green Scholarship: This fund was established in honor of William S. Green, charter member of the Southern New Hampshire University Board of Trustees and Chancellor Emeritus. Scholarships from this fund are designated for juniors or seniors who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and have conducted themselves in a manner that has both served and brought credit to the University. Financial need is also a factor in determining recipients of this scholarship.
The Richard and Joanne Gustafson Scholarship Fund: This scholarship will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated an active engagement in campus life, combined with practical application of their degree program. The scholarship will be a balance of need and academic performance. Preference will be given to a student who is a legal resident of New Hampshire.
Jane's Trust Scholarship Fund: This fund provides scholarship assistance for students who demonstrate an active interest in working to address economic needs of low-income individuals, families, or communities, or to make their communities stronger, more sustainable, and/or better places to live and work by addressing social, environmental, or economic issues.
Kappa Sigma Scholarship: This scholarship supports needy and deserving students at Southern New Hampshire University.
John & Betty Miles Scholarship: The principal requirement for candidates to be eligible for this scholarship will be the inability to afford the total tuition after available financial aid. An additional requirement will be a history of a serious learning attitude and achievement (grades, projects, etc.). Eligible students will be U.S. citizens enrolled in the undergraduate program. Preference of consideration will be given to students who have graduated from a Christian High School or were active in a Christian Church as evidenced by a letter of recommendation from his/her minister of the church. In a year when there are no deserving needy students fitting these specific guidelines, the awards may be presented to other U.S. students enrolled in the undergraduate program.Phi Delta Psi Scholarship: This scholarship supports needy and deserving students at Southern New Hampshire University.
Polly Popek Memorial Fund: Established to honor Polly Popek for her many contributions during her years of service to the University. The scholarship provides assistance with textbook purchases and is awarded to a student worker who has worked for the University for at least one semester, is a current employee, and a full-time student. The student must be nominated by his/her supervisor. Nominations are invited from staff in April.
Timothy C. Russell Study/Travel Fund: Funds will be awarded to traditional undergraduate day students on the Manchester campus with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who qualify for credit-bearing internships outside of New England. Preference will be given to students participating in internships within the hospitality, restaurant, or culinary industries.
Student Ambassador Scholarship: This fund, created by the Student Ambassadors at SNHU, is selected by a committee of the Student Ambassadors to deserving students who possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, have demonstrated financial need and have shown outstanding service to the University community.
Michael Swack Endowed Scholarship: This fund will provide scholarship assistance for students who are working in a government, non-profit or social impact organization in either a fulltime position or an active internship. Preference will be given to students from New Hampshire.
Traditional Undergraduate Scholarship: This scholarship supports undergraduate students studying on the Manchester campus with financial need.
The Edward S. Wolak Scholarship: This fund is established in honor of Edward S. Wolak '74, SNHU Trustee and alumnus. Scholarships from this fund are designated for students who are enrolled full-time in the University College division and at least in their second year of study with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Preferences will be given to students who are present or former members of the Boys and Girls Club or have worked at least one year in a quick service restaurant.
The Christine Zimmermann Memorial Scholarship Fund: Established in memory of a former Southern New Hampshire University employee, Christine Zimmermann. This scholarship supports students who encounter challenges as determined by the Campus Accessibility Center, be enrolled full-time in the undergraduate program and have a GPA of 2.5 of higher.
