A Discussion with author Eleanor Dunfey-Freiburger

Join author Eleanor Dunfey-Freiburger as she shares the uplifting story of her family's origins as mill workers with 12 children to feed, starting a hospitality empire from a luncheonette and fried clam stand to what would eventually grow to be the Omni International Hotels. The author's profits from the sale of this book will go to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur who have served immigrant communities at St Patrick's School, Lowell, MA, for 167 years.

Dunfey-Freiburger is Professor Emerita at Southern New Hampshire University, where she was the first endowed chair of business ethics and civic engagement, and a professor of world religions and contemporary moral issues for 25 years. She taught in the University’s Malaysia program in 2001. SNHU is delighted to welcome Eleanor back to campus, and we invite the entire SNHU community - alumni, students, faculty, and staff, as well as members of the Manchester community - to join us for what is sure to be a rousing, entertaining, poignant, and insightful discussion with a member of one of New Hampshire's most influential families.
