Alumni, Family and Friends
Southern New Hampshire University men's basketball head coach Stan Spirou announced his retirement on Feb. 28, 2018, following a 33-year career that spanned the terms of six U.S. Presidents, a name change to the institution he turned into a national basketball power and 640 wins. Stan also oversaw eight conference championships, five Elite Eight berths, two Final Four appearances, 17 20-win seasons, and five conference Coach of the Year awards.
Stan has coached and inspired thousands of young men and women across Southern New Hampshire in camps, clubs, teams, and community involvement over his decades-long career. On May 4, SNHU athletes, coaches, administrators, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and Penmen fans are coming together to honor this legacy, and celebrate Stan's impact on SNHU and the greater community. We hope you'll join us.
