The Alumni Engagement team is hitting the road! We have a series of community service and social events planned for our students, alumni, faculty, and staff in Texas.
Thursday, April 11 | 6:00-8:00 p.m. CST | Casa Rio (430 East Commerce Street, San Antonio) | $10/adult or $5/child aged 8 and under
Team up with the good people of United Way San Antonio for a combination craft/service project. Participants will help create hygiene kits for the homeless, followed by a community dinner. Cost to participate includes a taco buffet and one drink ticket. Limit of one non-SNHU guest per SNHU community member. Hosted by Javier Olivarez '16, member of the SNHU Alumni Board of Directors.

Meet local Penmen for a fun night out! Cost per person includes shoe rental, one hour of bowling, and dinner buffet and soft drinks. Limit of one non-SNHU guest per SNHU community member. Hosted by Ramesh "Ricky" Pujari '08G, member of the SNHU Alumni Board of Directors. Space is limited, so register online early to save your spot.
Saturday, April 13 | 9:30-11:30 a.m. CST | CC Young Senior Living Center (4827-4849 W Lawther Dr, Dallas) | free
Come make a difference in a senior's day! Join in interactive games and social activities for seniors at the assisted living facility, to help combat loneliness and isolation. All ages are welcome to join the project, but those under 18 must come with an adult. Volunteers will start their day with an orientation session to learn how to make the greatest impact. Limit of two non-SNHU guests per SNHU community member.

**NEW LOCATION** Due to forecasted inclement weather, we have decided to move our Pizza Picnic indoors! Join us at the historic Egyptian Restaurant (Campisi’s) from 12:30-2:00pm for a pizza lunch. Join your fellow Penmen for food and fellowship in the oldest Italian restaurant in Texas! Plenty of parking is available on site- and be sure to wear your favorite SNHU gear!
Saturday, April 13 | Pre-Game Reception @ 5:30-7:00 p.m. CST; FC Dallas vs. Portland Timbers Kickoff @ 7:00 p.m. CST | Toyota Stadium, Home of FC Dallas (9200 World Cup Way, Frisco) | $15/person (children 2 and under are free)
Join local SNHU students, alumni, faculty, and staff for a pre-game reception, complete with a dinner buffet and soft drinks. FC Dallas kicks off against the Portland Timbers starting at 7:00 p.m., and your ticket seats you with a block of fellow Penmen. Limit of four non-SNHU guests per SNHU community member.
