What Went Down: A group of SNHU community members joined Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA staff for their annual Health Kid's Day extravaganza. Activities included assisting with games, exercises, face painting, reading, and inflatables.
After the event, site leaders Jason & Wade said, "the YMCA was so grateful for the support we added to the day, helping to staff all of the activities for the kids. The kids could not have been more cute, and had a great time literally bouncing between the inflatable twister, inflatable obstacle course, and the sports toss, while others decided to try their luck in a larger-than-life Connect 4. We were so pleased with the opportunity to #ServeWithSNHU and the ease of partnering with the YMCA. We are already planning to go back next year for Global Days of Service."
The group continued their day with a social event at a local pub and are busy planning their next So. Cal SNHU community event.
