During the summer of 2013, the “Big Blue Bus”—as it is commonly known—became an icon of the university’s commitment to student success. In the spring of 2015 spring, SNHU embarked on another cross-country trip to celebrate more than 80 years on campus and 20 years online. From New Hampshire to Colorado to Washington to South Dakota and back again, the university met with current students and alumni across the country. It was a packed house with gorgeous views of the city at the Top of the Hub in downtown Boston. We had so much fun seeing all the great connections being made - alumni from the 1980's reminisced about their time at New Hampshire College. A current student in College for America met a current student in the College of Online and Continuing Education studying in a similar program and working in a similar organization just down the street. It was the epitome of SNHU community! See photos on Facebook and Flickr.
We had so much fun bringing the SNHU party back to one of our favorite spots. Bay Area alumni and current students had a lively networking mixer at the Pied Piper Bar & Grill in the Palace Hotel. Pictures coming soon!
Alternative Break students from the Manchester campus spent their spring break assisting with ongoing Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. One of the highlights of their trip was the SNHUcommunity mixer, where alumni, faculty, staff, and current online & campus students could make connections and share their stories. We had a blast with current students, alumni, faculty, and staff at this fun mixer hosted by Linda Varrell '87 '08G and Nick Cormier '07 of Broadreach Communications, Chris Cameron '99 of the Portland Sea Dogs, and Tia Downing '04 of Double Tree by Hilton. See more photos on Facebook and Flickr.
SNHUcommunity NOLA students, alumni, faculty, and staff came together in New Orleans while a small group of campus students and their faculty advisors were in town for a weeklong service break.
We had a wonderful time at the SNHU Choir and Orchestra's Winter Concert with a fantastic group of alumni, current students, families, faculty, and friends.
Students, alumni and faculty were treated to a fascinating presentation on the wonders of space flight by astrophysicist and aerospace educator Brian Ewenson, with an introduction by Sharon Eggleston '97. See more photos on Facebook and Flickr.
President Paul LeBlanc met with Bay Area alumni and students for an evening of cocktails and conversation at the Pied Piper Bar & Grill in San Francisco. See the pictures on Facebook or Flickr.
Kristi Durette, Director of Alumni Relations, joined ten current students and two staff advisors on Alternative Break in D.C., where the SNHU team was volunteering at a variety of organizations to help fight hunger and homelessness in our nation's capital. On Thursday, March 6, students were joined by local alumni and online students for a networking/mentoring dinner. See the pictures on Facebook or Flickr.
Alumni and friends gathered at the home of Tom '84 and Jane '84 Wye for an evening of networking and reminiscing, with a special presentation by President LeBlanc giving an insider's look on the direction of the university. See photos on Facebook or Flickr.
