You're invited to connect with SNHU community members who have made volunteering an important part of their lives, even beyond SNHU’s Global Days of Service. Learn about the organizations they work with, their experiences volunteering, and how you can get involved. Three organizations they'll discuss are The Society of Public Health Education, Autism Speaks and the Crisis Text Line.
Accessibility: SNHU is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment. Learn more about our accessibility policy and accommodation requests.

“One of the major highlights of what I do is being able to be there for individuals I would have never crossed paths with otherwise. People from all over the United States. It feels like such a privilege to be able to be there for such a diverse group of people.” - Sydney Lovell on her work with the Crisis Text Line.
Carol Tatom is an SNHU online student from McKinney, Texas. Carol will finish her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Child and Family Services and a minor in Sociology in April of 2023. Carol has been involved with Autism Speaks since 2018 and the Texas Society for Public Health Education since 2021. Carol has been published multiple times in Autism Parenting Magazine and was awarded Top Autism Contributor by Autism Parenting Magazine in 2021. Carol is a member of the NSLS honor society through SNHU and a member of the Tau Epsilon Alpha honor society through the National Organization for Human Services.
