Alumni, Family and Friends
Event details: Wednesday, April 5, 2023 | Shift 1: 8:30 am-12:30 pm; Shift 2: 12-4 pm | SNHU Arboretum (2500 North River Road, Manchester, New Hampshire 03106)
What went down: The SNHU Arboretum was established and accredited by ArbNet in 2016. A variety of student-led research monitoring projects take place in the space's 25-acre forested wetland. The Office of Sustainability invited alumni, staff, faculty and students to be a trailblazer!
The group met at the Arboretum to learn about local flora and fauna around campus and the surrounding area and then moved on to trailblazing! Volunteers brought their pioneering spirit to work together extending some of the existing Arboretum trails.
Meet your project leaders: SNHU employee Pamela Beckvagni is co-leading this project with employee Mike Weinstein and student Aden Gardner (pictured below, left to right). If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact Alumni Engagement. And, check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
