Learn more: Bee populations are critical for ensuring a healthy environment as they are integral for pollinating our food crops and so much more! This project encourages everyone to get out and plant region specific flowers to help save the bees. This work is essential to the longevity of a healthy ecosystem.
SNHU community members are invited to consider planting a bee garden on their own, starting one inside for those in colder regions, or by contacting local organizations within your area to see if there are community gardens or common spaces available for planting. Complete this project anytime in March or April; consider planting on or around April 22 to commemorate and celebrate Earth Day!
Meet your project leader: SNHU online student Cassi Key is your volunteer project leader for this event. If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact Alumni Engagement. Check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
