Trigger warning: discussion of individuals experiencing homelessness and abuse.
Learn more: We’re looking for volunteers to build "care bags" to deliver to their local shelters/support organizations. Care bags typically contain hygiene items for individuals who are either unhoused or had to leave their home urgently. To participate, you can purchase or collect care bag items, pack them and donate them to a local community organization. Once you’ve completed your project, share your story to report your volunteer hours and how it went.
Your project leader has put together some great resources to help you identify an organization in need, what items to pack, and even post-project reflection questions.
