Event details: Wednesday, April 19, 2023 | 8-11:30 am | Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona (3003 S Country Club Road, Tucson, AZ 85756)
What went down: The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona responds to the root causes of hunger, and seeks to restore dignity, health, opportunity and hope to people living in poverty. Their mission is to change lives in the communities we serve by feeding the hungry today, and building a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow.
Volunteers packed emergency food boxes and bags for families and seniors across southern Arizona. Production volunteers worked together in an assembly-line style to pack non-perishable food items and more for those in need.
