What went down: YWCA NH is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Volunteers were asked to crochet and mail granny squares to be sewn together into a blanket to be used in the YWCA Women's Shelter Zen Room.
The SNHU community stitched with passion, crocheting enough squares for THREE full blankets. Project leader Mary says the results were "beyond my wildest expectations!" Check out the finished blankets:
