Learn More: As our reimagined Global Days of Service 2020 comes to a close, we have one more DIY project for you! Over the last 11 years, SNHU Manchester campus students have kicked off the start of the school year with our annual Give a Little, Feed a Lot (GALFAL) food collection drive. Hundreds of volunteers wearing bright orange shirts set out in the north end of Manchester to collect thousands of pounds of food, all to benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank. In 2019 alone, GALFAL collected more than 6,500 pounds of food!
In honor of the 12th anniversary of GALFAL, we're challenging the SNHU community to donate to a food agency in your area in lieu of an in-person collection event. We know that the need to fight food insecurity right now is more important than ever, and we are so excited to have your support.
Below is a list of possible donation locations that were a part of the original Global Days of Service efforts in the spring.
Don’t see a location in your area? Visit Feeding America to find your local food bank.
And after you've done your good deed, let us know about it through October 25. Small actions can make a huge difference in the lives of others; share with us where you donated to add to our collective SNHU Community story.
