Event details: Friday, April 18, 2025 | 9 am-12 pm | Joppa Hill Educational Farm (174 Joppa Hill Road, Bedford, NH 03110)
Learn more: Joppa Hill Educational Farm is a nonprofit organization that operates a working farm on 35 acres of public land leased from the Town of Bedford. Open to the public every day, the farm offers a variety of programs and services designed to pass our region's vanishing agricultural heritage to new generations. The 2024 project was a huge success and everyone involved is excited to continue the partnership. Volunteers are needed for spring cleanup tasks on the farm.
Children under 18 are welcome with adult supervision. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that they don't mind getting dirty. There is plenty of parking at the farm, overflow parking can happen across the street. In the event of inclement weather, activities can take place under the large event tent and inside the barn. Restroom facilities are available. Water and snacks will be provided; there is also a small farm stand offering snacks and beverage for purchase.
