Learn more: The Legacy Club was organized in the fall of 2004, in Jacksonville, AL by a group of professional women interested in empowering young ladies throughout Calhoun County. Twenty years later, the program serves students in 7-12 grades, instilling confidence and providing exposure to a broader world of opportunity through mentoring relationships, field trips, health education, life skills education, and academic support. April was sexual assault awareness month, and the Legacy Project needed volunteers to help with a workshop.
