What went down: Jayme's Fund for Social Justice launched the Jayme’s Bears Project in 2012. Jayme’s Bears are hand-sewn bears gifted to children living through difficult circumstances locally and around the world. Volunteers generously dedicate their time, energy and talents to create the bears. To date, over 500 bears have been made. Volunteers worked together to cut, stuff, and package bears! Individuals cut out the shape of the bear, stuffed the pre-sewed bears and finished the bears by trimming, lint-roll and packaging.
Meet your project leader: SNHU student Mya Dowd is leading this project. If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact Alumni Engagement. Check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
