Learn more: Operation Care for Troops (OCT) is a nonprofit organization providing needed, but not always available, supplies to U.S. troops who are deployed and here at home. Volunteers packed items requested by troops overseas. The items are donated through a variety of ways.
Project leader Allison said, "The event was so much fun and very productive. Everyone who participated felt good to do something for our military troops, and they also enjoyed being together in person! We all work remote so it was a great in person team building experience. We are all inspired to do it again in November. OCT sent care packages to units in the Middle East including Iraq, South Korea, Africa, Europe, Bahrain, Coast Guard & Navy units and several other units at undisclosed locations."
