COVID-19 Update: We are closely monitoring developments regarding the coronavirus. The health, safety, and wellbeing of the SNHU community is of the utmost importance to us. We are not taking registrations for any in-person Global Days of Service projects at this time. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
Event Details: Friday, April 17, 2020 | 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. | Animal Rescue League of NH (545 Route 101, Bedford, NH)
Learn More: The Animal Rescue League of NH improves animal welfare in our communities by helping pets and the people who care for them. We're looking for 15 volunteers to help with an outdoor spring clean up at the Animal Rescue League of NH. Volunteers will primarily be cleaning up the walking trails that are used to exercise the animals while they are there. In the case of inclement weather, our group will help with indoor tasks such as mopping, dusting, window cleaning, organization, etc.
There is plenty of parking available on site. Volunteers will have access to bathroom facilities and to refill water bottles. Gloves will be provided, but it's not a bad idea to bring your own if you have them. Dress in weather-appropriate layers, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
Meet Your Project Leader: SNHU staff member Emma DeLanoy is your volunteer project leader for this event. If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact the Office of Alumni Engagement. And, check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
