Alumni, Family and Friends
COVID-19 Update: We are closely monitoring developments regarding the coronavirus. The health, safety, and wellbeing of the SNHU community is of the utmost importance to us. We are not taking registrations for any in-person Global Days of Service projects at this time. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
Event Details: Saturday, Apr. 4, 2020 | 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Bear Brook State Park (12 Podunk Road, Allenstown, NH)
Learn More: We're looking for 20 volunteers to work alongside Bear Brook State Park staff members to clean up and prepare the campground for the upcoming camping season. Tasks will include raking, leaf-blowing, and picking up trash. This project is family-friendly, so bring the kids (suggested ages are 10+; you know your child(ren) better than we do, so if they're willing and able, bring them along)!
Please bring your own snacks and water. We welcome extra rakes, leaf-blowers, work gloves, etc. if you have them; Bear Brook will have some tools available. All participants should wear closed-toe shoes and dress in layers. Bathrooms are available on site.
If weather does not cooperate, our group will paint signs in the warehouse.
