Learn More: The mission of the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is to feed the hungry of eastern Oklahoma through a network of Partner Agencies and to engage our communities in ending hunger. Their vision is food security, with dignity, for all eastern Oklahomans. The Food Bank is the largest private hunger-relief organization in eastern Oklahoma.
Volunteers process almost 40% of the food distributed by the Food Bank. The work available for volunteers depends on the donations they receive. Possible tasks include:
Please wear comfortable, casual clothing and closed-toe shoes. The Food Bank has plenty of parking. Restrooms are available on site. Your site leader, Gina, will be bringing snacks and drinks (how nice!).
Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older; anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Once you register, all future communications will be from your site leader.
