Alumni, Family and Friends
COVID-19 Update: We are closely monitoring developments regarding the coronavirus. The health, safety, and wellbeing of the SNHU community is of the utmost importance to us. We are not taking registrations for any in-person Global Days of Service projects at this time. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
Event Details: Tuesday, April 21, 2020 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | The OLD Girls at Work Facility (4 Elm Street, Manchester NH)
Learn More: Girls at Work is a nonprofit that empowers girls by teaching them to build with power tools. They have worked with thousands of girls to help them build confidence, discover their self-worth, and find their voice. In this supportive environment, girls are empowered and gain a sense of accomplishment that lasts well beyond the build.
Girls at Work needs our help moving to their brand new facility! Join us to pack everything up at their old location to move to the new facility.
Please wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. All necessary tools and supplies will be provided. Restroom facilities are available. There will be coffee and breakfast snacks; volunteers should plan to bring a lunch or purchase lunch from area food service providers.
Guests can park in the lot behind the American-Canadian Genealogical Society (closest to the building), enter the side door.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
Meet Your Project Leader: SNHU staff member and alumna Christine Keenan '10 is your volunteer project leader for this event. If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact the Office of Alumni Engagement. And, check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
