Alumni, Family and Friends
COVID-19 Update: We are closely monitoring developments regarding the coronavirus. The health, safety, and wellbeing of the SNHU community is of the utmost importance to us. We are not taking registrations for any in-person Global Days of Service projects at this time. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
Event Details: Thursday, April 9, 2020 | 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | The NEW Girls at Work Facility (200 Bedford Street, Manchester, NH)
Learn More: When we teach girls to build with power tools the results are undeniable. Girls at Work has worked with thousands of girls to help them build confidence, discover their self-worth, and find their voice. In this supportive environment, girls are empowered and gain a sense of accomplishment that lasts well beyond the build.
Girls at Work needs our help setting up their brand new facility! Join us to help paint and build bookcases for their new site.
Please wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting paint on and closed-toe shoes. All paint, face masks, and necessary equipment will be provided. Restroom facilities are available. There will be coffee and breakfast snacks; volunteers should plan to bring a lunch or purchase lunch from area food service providers.
Guests can park for free at the FIRST Robotics building, or at any of the paid street parking surrounding the mills. This is walkable from the SNHU Millyard building.
Volunteers must be 11 years of age or older.
