What Happened: The NH Food Bank Production Garden grows vegetables for the NH Food Bank. Volunteers helped with gardening tasks, such as, flipping the beds, preparing the fields, and digging new beds. 61 volunteers joined forces to help at the NH Food Bank Production Garden on Thursday, April 19. The weather kept us on our toes as it shifted from snow to rain to blue skies. The group spent the day flipping garden beds on the acre plot located in North Manchester. The NH Food Bank is the only food bank in the state of New Hampshire and the production garden helps ensure that folks across the state have access to fresh produce throughout the summer months.
