Even Details: Saturday, April 18, 2020 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Operation Gratitude (9409 Owensmouth Ave, Chatsworth, CA 91311)

Learn More: Operation Gratitude works to forge strong bonds between Americans and their Military and First Responder heroes through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide. Volunteers will help assemble care packages and write letters for soldiers and their families around the world.

Possible tasks inclue:

• Prep - sorting donated items, folding shirts, writing/screening letters, controlling Battalion Buddies or preparing products and the assembly line
• Assembly - production of the care packages; labeling, taping, running packages, re-stocking the lines, breaking down cartons and other tasks
• Production - hand-making items onsite; if time allows, we will provide instructions and materials for making paracord ‘Survival’ bracelets or Battilion Buddies

Please bring a valid ID and wear closed-toe shoes. No food or drinks are permitted inside the warehouse, but there are water stations throughout the facility. Purses and bags are not allowed inside.

This project has tasks for all ages and abilities; anyone under the age of 17 must have a parent or guardian with them at all times. Parking is available on the street and on site.
